Steve has served as teacher, school administrator, or charter school board member for most of the past three dozen years. He has also overseen the finances of other non-profits in Washington, DC.

At Meridian PCS, he has been a member of the Board of Directors for seven years, serving as Treasurer, Secretary, and Board Chair. In addition to his work in education and non-profits, Steve is also a professional singer and a volunteer at the National Zoo.
