8th Grade End of the Year Celebrations / Celebraciones de fin de año de 8º grado
Attention all Meridian 8th grade students and families! We are thrilled to announce our exciting lineup of end-of-the-year events to celebrate your achievements and create lasting memories.
The festivities kick off with the 8th Grade Dance on Friday, June 2nd, where students are encouraged to dazzle and shine with a "Dress to Impress" theme.
Afterward, prepare for an exhilarating day at Terrapin Adventures on Wednesday, June 7th, where students will enjoy a thrilling field trip with unforgettable experiences.
We'll then gather for a special Rehearsal/Luncheon on Thursday, June 8th, allowing students to bond and reflect on their time at Meridian.
Finally, the grand finale – the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony – will take place on Friday, June 9th. Please note that seating will be limited, but fear not, as the event will be live streamed on Facebook for all to enjoy.

¡Atención a todos los estudiantes y familias de 8º grado de Meridian! Estamos encantados de anunciar nuestra emocionante línea de eventos de fin de año para celebrar sus logros y crear recuerdos duraderos.
Las festividades comienzan con el baile de 8º grado el viernes 2 de junio, donde se anima a los estudiantes a deslumbrar y brillar con el tema "Vestir para impresionar".
Después, prepárense para un emocionante día en Terrapin Adventures el miércoles 7 de junio, donde los estudiantes disfrutarán de una emocionante excursión con experiencias inolvidables.
A continuación, nos reuniremos para un ensayo especial / almuerzo el jueves, 8 de junio, permitiendo a los estudiantes a unirse y reflexionar sobre su tiempo en Meridian.
