Mobile Vaccine Clinic for Students - Elementary School on 7.26.22

We are pleased to share, that in partnership with Children’s National and DC Health, Meridian PCS will be hosting a mobile pediatric vaccine clinic on Tuesday, July 26th.

This is a great opportunity to catch up on routine childhood immunizations before the beginning of the school year. Vaccines will be available for anyone under 18 years of age, by registering HERE. Vaccines will be provided at NO COST- regardless of type of insurance or insurance coverage status. A parent or guardian must be present and provide consent during your student's appointment.

If you are unsure of what vaccines your child needs, you can register as “unsure” and clinic staff will help identify what immunizations are needed. You can also confirm your students current immunization status by emailing nurse@meridian-dc.org for elementary students or ms.nurse@meridian-dc.org for middle school students. Students in summer school can be excused to visit the clinic and return to class afterwards.

Middle School parents: On July 8, 2022, the FDA fully approved the COVID-19 vaccine, commonly known as the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine for individuals 12 to 15 years old. DC law  gives students 70 calendar days from FDA full approval to comply with the COVID-19 vaccine which, for students 12-15 years old, is Sept. 16, 2022.

COVID vaccines will be available at the mobile clinic, and are also offered daily at DC COVID Centers. Find one near you, and view center hours HERE. To minimize disruption to your students' school year, we recommend students get vaccinated over the summer.

Registration is required AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE of the start time for each clinic. If you do not see a clinic listed, the registration deadline has passed or the clinic is full- please register for another clinic.

Registration is open to ALL students- from ANY school.
